Originally from Sacramento, California, Pastor Ernie Cabrera and his wife, Daisy, relocated to Florida after he served as the lead pastor at Ignite Community Church. He moved to serve as the Executive Minister (Regional President) for Converge Southeast, further expanding his ministry in church leadership and development and now serves as the Mission Pastor here at Trinity.

With a deep passion for church planting, Ernie has been instrumental in launching, equipping, and pastoring churches since 1989. He played key roles in establishing Horizon Christian Church, Discovery Christian Church, and Impact Community Church, leaving a lasting legacy through his leadership, vision, and commitment to expanding God's kingdom.

Since 1992, Ernie has served & partnered in various leadership roles within church associations and church-planting organizations, including Converge Southeast, Converge MidAmerica, Converge aka Baptist General Conference (BGC), The Timothy Initiative (TTI), the Northern California Evangelistic Association (NCEA), and Word of Restoration Ministries. His extensive experience has equipped him to mentor pastors, train church leaders, planters, missionaries, and support the growth of thriving congregations.

Pastor Ernie remains dedicated to fulfilling the Great Commission as a missionary and consultant, serving churches across the United States, the Greater Caribbean, and beyond—helping ministries grow and flourish for the glory of God.
