Sharon Racht
Sharon’s journey began in Portsmouth, Virginia, winding through several states before she and her husband John planted deep roots in Dickson City, Pennsylvania—the place where their love story truly bloomed.
Together, they raised two wonderful children, Steve and Stephanie, in the peaceful surroundings of Greenfield Township. Today, Steve calls Chicago home, while Stephanie brings her warmth to Hamilton Township, New Jersey.
Professionally, Sharon spent many years as a dedicated Registered Neurophysiology Technologist at Community Medical Center/Geisinger in Scranton, PA. Her gentle strength and attention to detail made a meaningful impact until she gracefully retired in March 2022 alongside John.
Before even moving to their new home, Sharon and John searched for a church that would nourish their spirits and welcome their hearts. After reading Trinity Baptist Church’s mission and joining several online services, they knew they had found the place God was leading them to. Since becoming members, Sharon has joyfully served in the Women’s Ministry and now lends her kindness as a part-time administrative assistant. John is also actively involved, serving faithfully as a Deacon and Trustee.
In her free time, Sharon embraces life with joy and simplicity—whether she’s playing pickleball, dancing in rhythm, planting flowers, or cruising around with John in their golf cart. She cherishes the fellowship and love she’s found at Trinity Baptist Church and holds deep gratitude for the beautiful friendships she’s made since moving to Florida.
Her life reflects grace, devotion, and an open heart for every season ahead.
